# Mailchimp integration

### 🔑 Step 1: Generate a Mailchimp API key

* Log in to **Mailchimp**
* Go to **Account** settings
* Create an **API key** (Mailchimp has official steps)

### 🔌 Step 2: Connect Tipo to Mailchimp

1. Open the app > click **Settings** > **Integrations** > find **Mailchimp** 
2. Click on the connect icon
3. Enter the API generated on the step 1 to **API KEY** field
4. In **Integrate** sections, select a list from Mailchimp to connect data

 5\. Click **Save**

### How Mailchimp integration works?&#x20;

After an appointment is booked, the customer is added to your selected Mailchimp **audience**.
