🧩 What this setting does

  • Adds a tag to every Shopify order created from a Tipo Appointment Booking app

  • Helps you:

    • search and filter orders in Shopify

    • build automations (e.g., Shopify Flow) using tags

    • quickly separate booking orders from normal product orders

In Shopify, “Tags” are labels you attach to orders to organize and filter them.

🛠️ How to set

  1. Open the app > click Settings > General

  2. In Advanced, find Customize Shopify order tag field,

  3. Type the tag you want (example: Tipo booking)

  4. Click Save

For example: add tag "Tipo booking"


🏷️ What you’ll see in Shopify

After a customer successfully books:

  • Tipo creates the order in Shopify Admin > Orders

  • Shopify automatically shows your tag in the order’s Tags area


💡 Tips for naming your tag

  • Keep it short and consistent (good: Tipo booking, Appointment, Booking)

  • Avoid long sentences

  • Use one tag for all bookings unless you have a specific workflow
