Set up customer account

This setting controls whether customers need to log in before booking or can book freely without an account. It helps tailor the booking experience based on your service type and data needs.

Steps

  1. Go to Tipo Appointment app > open Settings > scroll to the Customer accounts section

  2. Choose one of the following options:

  • Option 1: Customer Login (Recommended): Customers must sign in before booking.

  • Option 2: Legacy Mode: Customers can book without logging in, simply by filling out a form.

  1. Click Save

Note:

  • If you're offering both free and paid services, consider using Customer Login to maintain consistency and data accuracy.

  • You can test both modes on a staging store to see which fits your workflow best.
