Manual booking for a customer

Besides booking through the booking form, an appointment also can be created by the admin in the app.

Steps to manage

1. Open the app > click Appointment > click Create appointment button

2. Select service and employee

3. Select date and hour for the appointment, set up status

4. Select Customers who will attend the appointment.

Note: the customer needs to exist in your Shopify customer list. If the customer account does not exist, please create a new one.

5. Tick to the checkbox Send email notification to the customers if you want to inform your customer about the new appointment you have created

Note: Email notifications are sent based on both the appointment status and the order status. Here's how it works for employees and customers:

For Employees (Staff)

  • If the appointment status is Approved → The employee will receive an "Approved Appointment" email.

  • If the appointment status is Pending → The employee will receive a "Pending Appointment" email.

For Customers

  • If the order status is Pending:

    • The customer will receive a Shopify invoice email prompting them to complete the payment.

    • Once the order is paid, they will receive:

      • A Shopify order confirmation email, and

      • A booking email notification from our app, either Pending or Approved, depending on the appointment status.

    • The order status will change from Pending to Paid.

  • If the order status is Paid:

    • The customer will receive a Pending or Approved appointment email, based on the current appointment status.

6. Click Save to finish
