Set up Flexible (Interleaved) time slots

By default, time slots for appointments are created based on the duration of your service. However, you can create more flexible time slots using the Interleaved setting. This gives your customers more options when booking.

What Is an Interleaved Time Slot?

Let’s say your service duration is 60 minutes.

• Without interleaving: Time slots will appear every 60 minutes (e.g. 9:00, 10:00, 11:00).

• With interleaving (e.g., every 15 minutes): Time slots will appear every 15 minutes (e.g. 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, 9:45), even though the service still takes 60 minutes.

This gives customers more flexibility to choose a start time.

How to Set It Up

1. Open the app > click Settings > General

2. In Overlapping time slots section > Time slot type dropdown > select Flexible time slot (Allow overlapping)

3. Select Time stepping

4. Click Save

Example

If you set:

• Service Duration: 60 minutes

• Interleaved Time Slot Interval: 15 minutes

Your available time slots will be: 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, 9:45, 10:00, 10:15, etc.

Each booking still lasts 60 minutes, but starts at flexible times.
