Set Bid history columns
The Bid history section appears in the auction widget on your product page. It shows recent bids so customers can see bidding activity.
This setting allows you to control which information is visible in the bid history list, helping you balance transparency and privacy.

🎯 What can be controlled?
You can choose whether to show or hide:
Bidder full name
Bidder email
Bid amount
Bid time
Encrypted bidder information (privacy protection)
These settings apply to all auction widgets in your store.
🛠️ Step-by-step: Customize bid history display
Open the app > click Settings > Bid history
Find Bid history column
Under Bid history columns, you’ll see several checkboxes.
Each checkbox controls one column in the bid history:
Full name – shows the bidder’s name
Email – shows the bidder’s email address
Bid amount – shows how much was bid
Bid time – shows when the bid was placed
Encrypt bidder personal info – masks name and email (recommended)
Simply check or uncheck the items you want to display
Click Save
Privacy option: Encrypt bidder personal info
When Encrypt bidder personal info is enabled:
Names and emails are partially hidden
Example:
John Smith→J*** S***[email protected]→j***@***.com
This keeps bidding transparent while protecting customer privacy.

On the storefront:
The bid history appears below the auction widget
Only selected columns are shown
Bidder information follows your privacy settings
This helps customers feel confident while bidding.
⚠️ Tips & best practices
For public auctions, always enable Encrypt bidder personal info
Avoid showing full emails unless necessary
Test changes on a live product page after updating settings
These settings do not affect admin-side bid management
