✅ What this widget does

Thank You Page Offers let you show product recommendations after a customer completes a purchase. This is a great way to increase repeat purchases while the customer is still engaged.

You can use it to:

• Suggest complementary products

• Promote best-sellers

• Encourage customers to place another order

⚙️ How to set up

Step 1: Create a Widget

1. Open the app > go to the Widgets tab > click the Add widget button in the top right corner

2. For Placement, choose Thank you page > layout Thank you offers is selected

3. Click Next to go to the configuration page and begin setting up your widget

1. Fill in your widget details:

• Title: Heading shown above the offers

Example: Frequently Bought Together

• Subtitle (optional)

1. Select the target product(s) where the widget should appear

Options:

• All products → Show the offer after every purchase

• Specific products → Show the offer only when certain products were purchased

• Specific tags → Show the offer when purchased products contain specific tags

1. Choose Recommended Products

This section controls what products are shown on the Thank You page.

1. Click Save

Step 2: Configure widget style

1. Open the app > go to app Settings > click Design

2. Find Thank you Offers tab > click on it

1. Choose where it is shown: find Position

Choose one:

• Use app block in theme editor (recommended) Use Shopify Theme Editor to drag & drop the widget.

• Before / After a HTML element (manual placement) Use this if you’re adding the widget via shortcode and need full control.

1. Configure the color and design of each widget you want

2. Save settings

3. Use the Preview panel on the right to see real-time changes.

Step 3: Display widget on the site

Copy the Widget Shortcode

1. Return to the Widgets list > find your newly created widget.

2. Click Copy under the Shortcode column

Add Widget in Theme Editor

1. Open the theme editor > go to Thank you page template

1. Click > Add block > select Apps > select Tipo Related Products

1. Paste the widget’s shortcode into the block

2. Click Save theme editor

Step 4: Enable app embed

In theme editor, toggle on the app embed of Tipo Related Products. Learn more

Scenario:

• A customer buys A-Line Mini Dress in Blue

• After checkout, the Thank You page shows: 3/4 Sleeve Kimono Dress

Result:

• The customer sees relevant items

• They can add another product immediately

• No interruption to the original checkout

❓ FAQs

Will this affect checkout?

No. Thank You Page Offers appear after payment, so they don’t slow or interrupt checkout.

Can customers add products directly from the Thank You page?

Yes, if the Add to cart button is enabled in Design settings.

Can I show different offers for different products?

Yes. Use Target → Specific products or tags.

Does this work with Shopify Thank You pages?

Yes. The widget is designed specifically for Shopify’s Thank You page.
