The Tipo Related Products, Upsell app includes an analytics dashboard to help you measure how your product recommendation widgets are performing. You can easily track customer interactions, conversions, and total revenue generated from your upsell and cross-sell widgets.
Understanding Each Metric

Clicked Products
The total number of times customers clicked on a product within your recommendation widgets (e.g., Frequently Bought Together, You May Also Like). This shows how often shoppers interact with your suggestions.
If a customer clicks on a suggested item on your product page, it’s counted as 1 click. Total Clicked Products: 1,338
Added Products
The number of products added to the shopping cart directly from a recommendation widget. This reflects customer engagement and buying interest.
If a shopper clicks “Add to Cart” on a suggested product in the Frequently Bought Together section, it counts as 1 added product. Total Added Products: 88
Converted Products
The total number of products purchased after being added to the cart through a widget. This indicates successful conversions influenced by your recommendations.
If a customer added a suggested item from the “Upsell” widget and completed checkout, it’s counted as 1 converted product. Total Converted Products: 15
Total Converted
The total revenue (in your store’s currency) generated from these converted products. For example, if a customer purchases a $50 product added from a widget, that $50 is counted as assisted sales through Tipo Related Products, Upsell.
If a customer bought a $50 item added from the Featured Products widget, $50 is recorded under Total Converted. Total Converted: €371.50
Charts
Convert over time: Displays trends for clicked, added, and converted products over a selected date range.
Sales over time: Shows total converted value and conversion trends, helping you identify which days or campaigns perform best.
Sales by Widget
Below the charts, you’ll find a Sales by Widgets section that shows which widget type (e.g., “Frequently Bought Together,” “Related Products,” or “Upsell Offers”) generates the highest total converted value. This helps you understand which placement or strategy drives the most sales.
