Hide Buy buttons during auctions
When running an auction, you usually want customers to bid, not buy the product instantly. Tipo Auction lets you hide purchase-related buttons based on the auction status.
This guide shows you how to hide:
Add to cart button
Additional payment buttons (Buy Now, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, etc.)

Hiding purchase buttons helps you:

🛠️ Step-by-step: Hide buy buttons
Hide “Add to cart” button
1. Open the app . click Settings > find the Display section
2. Find Hide ADD TO CART once the auction status is
You’ll see these options:
Running
Pending
Stop
Recommended setup
✅ Running – hide Add to cart while the auction is live
✅ Pending – hide before the auction starts
⬜ Stop – show again after the auction ends (optional)
3. Click Save to apply the change
Then check the result on the online store.

Running

This ensures customers cannot skip the auction by using quick checkout options.
3. Click Save to apply the change

When these settings are enabled:
Add to cart button is hidden

These settings do not affect checkout for the auction winner
You can re-enable buttons after the auction ends
