🎯 What text can be customized?

You can edit text that appears on the auction widget, including:

• Button text (for example: Place bid)

• Status messages (for example: Auction ended)

• Helper messages (for example: You haven’t bid on this lot yet)

• Error or notice messages (for example: You have no penny)

These changes apply to all auction widgets in your store.

🛠️ Step-by-step: Change auction widget text

1. Open the app > click Settings > Translations

You will see a list of text fields used in the auction widget.

Each field includes:

• A default value

• An editable input where you can enter your own text

2. In the Default tab, edit the text in the fields you want

3. Click Save to update the changes.

Your updates will appear immediately on auction product pages.

Example

• Change the bid button text

Default text: Place bid

Custom text: Place your bid now

Result: Customers clearly understand what action they are taking.

• Change a status message

Default text: You haven't bid on this lot yet

Custom text: Be the first to place a bid!

Result: More encouraging and action-focused message.
